Do you weigh 3 stone?

How much faster are they.

? A little more than three stone. Over my head that one.

Don't know about how much faster, I suspect I'll save at least 10 seconds or so over 10 miles! But the psychological effect will be infinite, I'll be basically a cycling god going out on them!

Sadly had to go and take my father to pick up his car, he and my mother, both in their 70's, have been cycling all day. 42 churches in 37 miles, sponsored ride!

Oh, and must get Pit Stop as a matter of urgency! I'm fully confident for no particular reason that I'll suffer no flats out on my new tubs, but sods law being what it is, I think I should at least have something more than blind hope, just in case. Being a tight git, and want to buy the Pit Stop at Wiggle since it's down to £2.99, but need to make a worthwhile order to avoid paying double that in postage!

My cousin did that on a trip to Scotland many years ago. Fan belt went and he got his wife to whip of her tights and improvised a replacement belt. A few miles up the road they shredded themselves, got caught under the timing belt which jumped a couple of teeth and made toast of the engine.

Could have made a good snack with the eggs in the rad?

In an attempt to get the thread back on topic. Pit stop and other sealants may or may not work. Most of them will seal the hole, providing it's not too big. But, the sealant will probably fail once you get beyond something like 70psi. The other thing is, if you use sealant, it will mean none of the tub repairers will want to touch it.

Buy tubs, buy a spare tub. Use the spare tub if you puncture. Send the punctured tub off to someone for a proper repair. Otherwise, you're going to end up wasting a lot of money.
