Nice pub, been drunk there a few times when I’ve been down for the Dartmoor classic

Been in the same family for about 130 years, and not much has changed in that time. The beer's still as good as ever, served straight from the barrel. I suspect it'll be a rather nice long beer menu tonight - they usually get in some good specials such as Yo Ho Ho Ho for Christmas.

Mild and sunny over here in Tokyo. Busy day of meetings, just about avoided the jet lag monster and perked up when we went for sushi and sake after work at one of those trad Japanese bars where you take your shoes off and sit at ground level with your feet in a pit under the table.

bin lid blown open and cardboard across the garden so i have had to move it and the table had blown over so far , off to work soon and glad im in the car .

An invoicing day is always a good one: just got this half-term's ones done with AutoCrat (which creates pdf invoices and emails them out from a Google Sheet) - I still get a childish pleasure of pressing the "Go" button, but especially so on a grey day when there's no temptation to go out.

Riding in to work was like standing in front of a hosepipe; riding back was like standing in front of a massive fan on its cool setting. A combination of damp and a milder than normal warehouse left me smelling like a damp sheep.
