Morning Workers. Currently sat at work in the dry chilling with coffee in hand. Definitely not a bike to work day, tad breezy and very wet out there in the dark. Day of chilling out hopefully.

Dark wet and windy and Mrs W is already out power washing the patio.🙀At some point Bertie and I will have to brave the wind and rain, which will mean we will no longer have the sweet smelling puppy following yesterdays grooming.

She has decided that the greenish lichen colour of the stone flags on our North facing patios means they are dirty🤷🏼‍♂️

Rubbish nights sleep getting used to the new matress and pillows.

Work stuff with a meeting for most of the day, running later and discussions with the current wife on a race I’ve been accepted into - lake tahoo - so rather expensive

Storm Bram will do the power washing shirley?

I did the biennial car wash yesterday, as it was time that the microenvironment of moss and lichens was dissuaded from encroaching any further. The 22-y.o. paintwork underneath is still in remarkably uniformly good nick. Anyway, Bram has finished the rinsing process.

Staying in this morning, doing a load of laundry so it can dry a bit outside once the rain has passed. Work this afternoon, then carols at QE2's pub (The Bridge Inn in Topsham), that I've done nearly every year since 1993. Time flies.
