Reminds me a bit of my old dear in her later years. She also tried to use her zimmer as a weapon.

'Thankfully' my mother hasn't been upright for about 3 months (& the waiting list for bedside physio is 16 weeks) so that's not a problem. I've no doubt she'd be swinging her sticks in anger if it were a possibility.

She was actually quite tranquillo this morning and the residents that I attempted to apologise to couldn't remember last night.

Memory loss has its benefits. Also being slightly gaga occasionally wasn't bad as when my old man died, I was dreading telling her but when I did she just said 'oh, that's sad' and carried on drinking her tea.

Reminds me of when my old man passed. Mum's comment was: he's not moving much. Think that was the first time we thought: hang on!
