I think the UCI are reading our posts and are afraid of us actually managing to get UCI qualification as they're making it harder! As well as making the route 100 miles next year. they're restricting the number of qualifying places to 100 for each age group - combined across the race and sportive. Where you getting the stats from mate? Any idea how close I was?

HR and perceived effort much the same on a long race such as the worlds. Visceral impact is of course different. And the draft! Great to be carried, though you have to work not to fall off the back and man, the corners. Just like Zwift everyone sprints out of the corners! You have to work or boom.
