Turbo Trainer... QR Spring

Hi all,

Random question for you all, but I seem to have lost my QR spring off my Turbo Trainer.

Is this a crucial part to the QR Skewer, or shouldn't I worry?
I will be looking for it, as it's only the one spring which has gone, but I noticed it far too late and after I'd used the trainer.

Alternatively, if this is crucial, can I buy these springs easily enough? I can't find them on Chain Reaction, unless I buy a new QR Skewer.

I sent an email to Cycleops when I lost the handle from the closing unit, and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Maybe try the company?

Unfortunately I bought mine secondhand, and I know the spring was there when I collected it, so it wasn't the sellers fault.

I'm sure it'll appear in my living room at somepoint, unless one of my dogs have picked it up and moved it off haha.

Do they matter if they're missing? Or are they essential?

Just use one of the springs off the skewer that normally holds your wheel in place.

It is a none critical piece, just makes the wheel drop out and go in a bit easier. Dexterous fingers negate the need!

Oddly enough, I pulled the normal skewer apart, and found the spring! So panic over
