Can anyone recomend a good trainer.I am after one which is quiet and can vary the resistance without getting off the bike. Putting it all together or price wont be an issue.

I like the Minoura RD850. Load selection on a bar mounted rotary switch, so easy to change. Unless you're fixed, you can also vary the load by changing up a gear anyway, of course.
The RD range are rim drive, so you don't get tyre noise / wear / spray. No turbo is really quiet though. Even just sitting on your bike indoors and pedalling backwards is kinda noisy compared to a TV, etc.
