According to the sales blurb they are made differently as tyres on a turbo get very hot which is not very good for normal tyres.Interesting, I figured maybe the trainer tyres were made of a different style of rubber or tread design to lengthen their life on a trainer.

You can? Cool! I didn't know that - most of the people that have talked about an indoor trainer never referred to a specific tyre (sorry, from US, used to using tire) for indoor. Seemed that most (including reviewers) just used their bike as is off the street without specialized tyres. It's good to know that for future reference![]()
It's an Elite Volare and you can get the for around £100 thesedays. I'm happy to sell it at at £50. It's in very good condition. I'm in Huddersfield but if you want, can meet you at Wooley Edge Services if it's easier.
