Turbo training and Stroke

Hi, guys, I am an enthusiastic user of my Cycle Ops Fluid Pro Turbo Trainer - or rather was - until a stroke caused by a bleed in the brain a few weeks ago put a stop to that bit of fun. Just when I was getting ready to sign up to Zwift. My reason for posting this on the forum is to ask if anyone similarly struck down has used the turbo as a tool in their recovery process. If so I would love to hear from them.

Does your consultant think that it is a good idea?

If yes, then go for it! If no, then, er, don't?

I would have thought that it would be helpful as long as you don't overdo it.

Pretty much this. Do only as much (or as little) as your medical team suggest. You should have plenty of support from the Physio's and OTs, speak to them and see what they suggest.
