Have you thought about buying a battery for the flip phone?

He'd have to sell a bike first.

Just raked through the cupboard behind me and we have this mobile phone graveyard:-

The one in the middle that's my baby, Samsung SGH-ZM60

That photo takes me back 5 or more years ago to when Mr Summerdays used to work for Orange. He used to have a bag with upto 15 phones in it that he used at their test bed place, to try out changes on different phones, but it did draw strange looks as he would pull out multiple phones looking for a particular one.

At one point my favourite phone was very similar to the one in the middle but it was an LG one (I think) that I'm not sure was a full production model.

I had a clear out recently and its amazing how many of them you end up with stashed away and forgotten about.

I did the back to simplicity thing at the end of a smartphone contract a while back but soon missed the convenience (for me) of having a good size screen and pared down computer on the go, so inherited Mrs SB's old iphone. I've kept the candybar nokia for camping when battery life is more important and for the kids to take on school trips and such.

A friend's son was mugged for his phone many times on his way back from school. They decided to gave him an old Nokia like mine. As he handed it over to the robbers the next time, one said......"Sh1t! That's f***ing LAME!"....
...and handed it back.

I had a Blackberry that used to be my Brother's. It was a pig of a thing and I can see why he wanted to replace it.
After it zarking up for the umpteenth time, I just got myself a very simple Nokia which I've been using ever since. You can put coal in a little door on the side of it to get it to work and everything!! ;)

He can't use that anymore 3BM, he sold the butterfly steering wheel and the brifters in Classifieds.

Now take note 3Chuckles and Cracked this is proper abuse with a touch of class from the Maestro himself. He's passed up many easier and far funnier lines because he's recognised the humour value in a double retro. There's me looking at an old style phone and he gets in there with a line that makes my phone choice look positively cutting edge if not a little futuristic.

It just goes to show that age and incontinence pants don't always dull the mind.

That sounds rather like the mobile phone that I have got. ^_^
