Twitter - hack risk?

I found I had a new follower, called https://twitter.com/CiberMonde. The posts are in French and after translating I think it is one of those 'I will get you a gazillion followers...' members.

I decided to block the member.


However, I noticed that something was odd.

The open tab on my browser, as I carried on reading my Twitter page, still showed 'CiberMonde -Twitter' as if I was still on their page.

I had to sign out and sign in again to get back to the tab showing 'Twitter', or a member name if I looked on a profile, as usual.

Has my account be compromised?

Probably not, but I would change your password just in case, and run an anti-virus check.

You should also log a spam report with Twitter about CiberMonde
