I have to say I love the role playing aspect of those courses. I always play a psychotic character and scare the crap out of people who don't know me. As for the impossible challenges I found that saying "xyz is no longer core to our business and thus we can outsource the design and building of it" got at least a laugh. I always though that it was blue sky thinking

It's about 3 or 4 blokes who get stranded on a tiny island in the Lake District whilst on a management course, and how it all goes badly wrong...
