Two long days and a pig of a job - but happy with outcome...

Eventually got round to fitting new carpet to the staircase following our loft conversion.

The new staircase (double-winder) had to have all the gripper rods and underlay fitted of which the latter was bad enough... Then came the carpet
The old straight stairs and landing were a relative doddle, but the winder was the worst thing I've ever attempted.

Good result though (well, I thought so )
