I had some rainbow leg warmers, they were the best. I found them when clearing out my Mum's house years ago, couldn't believe how little I must have been at 12!

I do not remember many names from my childhood. One that stands out is Roderick Tye. He was very clever in a quiet sort of way. I sat next to him a Junior School. I have googled his name. He became very well-known as an artist, sculptor and a world-renowned fly-fisherman. Sadly he died two years ago of cancer.
