What size tyres does your bike take?
I think I have different tyres on each bike and a mix of sizes 23-25-28.
If I just wanted a reasonably priced all purpose tyre, a Vittoria Rubino :okay:

Leisure bike - Victoria Rubino 25's

But as someone else said. You're going to get many different answers.

If you’re talking about your pug you’re probably not going to be able to fit anything wider than 25c or possibly 28.
Im using Schwalbe Marathons and Conti Tour Rides, both pretty bulletproof if that’s what you want or GP 5000s are popular. Lighter might be a bit faster, it’s down to you but maybe less puncture resistance.

Pugs running 25 kwests and they are ace.
It's my Raleigh that's on 23s and they just feel awful.
Considering when I raced in the late 80s I think it was possibly 22s then...I feel very wobbly on the Raleigh while the pug feels well planted on the road.
Descended a hill at 55 kph last week on the Raleigh and tbh...thought I was gonna end up with gravel rash
