Anyone know in practice? - with and without mudguards. If it makes any odds, both would be the 2016 model (i.e. the steel ones are mustard yellow). I'm looking at options for my Roadrat which maintain similar clearance to the frame itself, i.e. at least 40mm.
Particularly, with the carbon, non-tapered forks with generous tyre clearance seem to be as rare as hen's teeth all of a sudden. I've gone and cut the steerer too short on my existing forks for the current bar setup...
