Tyre damage

Ok so checking tyres after yesterdays ride and the front has 3 or 4 small holes in roughly the centre of tyre.Not right through but look deep enough.The best way to describe is it looks like someone has pushed a pin in ! Plenty of life in tyres otherwise,ok to carry on ?

On some Contis, there are a couple of tyre depth indicators that show how much tread is remaining. These look like the holes you've described so maybe......

No when they disappear , I think on the conti where they are two dots then one disappears first and then you know you do not have long left .

The tyres should be replaced when the rest of the surface is flush with the bottom of the "hole" (at least on the Contis, see my earlier post) but in my case, the rears have squared off well before that happens.
