Was going to say are your fillings secure.

I run 110 on the rear of my commuter, with loaded panniers. 100 front. 23mm tyres.

I'm running 120psi front and rear for my 23mm Vittorias and 90psi for my 32mm Marathon Pluses. I'm happy with that.

I started out by running 120 rear 110 front on 23c tyres. Considering I only weigh 140lb you can imagine how bad the ride was. After some reading and dropping to 105 rear 95 front I have a much smoother, faster ride.

On rough roads you will go faster with the right/lower tyre pressure, as the tyre needs to deform over minor road imperfections. Preventing it from doing so by running at too high a pressure will cause loss of momentum, not to mention lost jelly babies.
