I was going to swap my Conti's (Double Fighter II) onto my new bike as the reviews for the Bontragers the new bike has aren't that great. I also cycle a lot of cycle paths/tow paths so don't need full knobblys.
My son will probably use the Saracen so I may as well leave the Conti's on there for him, as he rides with me so covers the same terrain.

So, what would you recommend?
I need something that can handle loose gravel (possibly a bit of grass), water, light mud, but rolls well. Decent quality, preferably with reflective walls.
Go...

I have these on my MTB.. Puncture resistant, and give enough grip for anything I might do on the bike (although I don't really do PROPER "throwing myself down big rocky mountainsides" type MTB'ing!!). They are quite good tyres for road riding too. They get good reviews on the linked Evans site.

These will be of no use on a Specialized 29"er .
