I currently have a Dawes Giro 200 Road Bike. I am just searching the net looking for some back up tubes and tyres incase things go wrong at any point.

My tyre wall lists 700x26C but most retailers seem to do 23-25 then start again at 27. Could anyone tell me the size i would be looking for? I'm assuming it's 25-35 or something along those lines.

Stupid / daft question i know, thanks for listening.

Tubes tend to cover ranges of size (e.g. they'll fit tyres between 18-25, for example). 25 is close enough to 26 to use these tubes in your tyres (I certainly used 18-25 tubes in my Kenda Kontender 700x26 tyres).

With tyres, the keys are the rim width, and frame clearance. Sheldon Brown's site has a good chart of rim/tyre combinations, whether larger tyres will fit in your frame will depend on the geometry, whether you run with mudguards or not etc etc.
