I'm very confused having recently bought 2 new bikes. I have generally always ridden bikes with 700c wheels and have no bother sussing out replacement tyre and tube sizes.

But the new ones? Oh no no no.

The tyre sizes on the new bikes are:

1 - 27.5 x 2.25

2 - 44 x 622

I have nada, zero, zilch, idea what bloody tyre sizes and tubes I need for the respective sizes. I think that bike 2 is equivalent to something like 700 x 28-45 but am not sure?

The first one has been made by Aliens - no idea.

Can anyone help me understand in very simple terms what I need to get?

Thank you very kindly ^_^

27.5 is aka 650b. A 29er inner tube will probably fit. 2.25 is an inch measurement.

622 is 700c/29er size, 44 is the width in mm.

I assume both mtb's, or the second is a hybrid.

27.5/650B inner tubes are readily available. It's the new 'mid size' wheel for MTB's - just get ones that are 1.9 to 2.3 inch wide
