Did a skid mate!

Corrected that for you. Classic result of vigorous (self-admitted) rear braking. Won't get that type of wear on a front tyre. I have had the same (though on a Michelin Pro4 SC, not on a GP4S).

possibly just a defective tyre , as said in an above post , delaminating probable cause , I’ve got them on my BH roadie , I’ll keep my eye on them now
