Good evening all. I wonder if anyone can help with my search for a new pair of tyres? I'm after a pair of 26x2.1 slicks to replace my knobblies for faster, less energy sapping road rides around London. Thanks.

I like Continental SportContact tyres on a road-use MTB.

Various profiles are available.

I find them excellent as long as you don't exceed 80psi. Simply awesome in terms of grip, feel and longevity.

Over 80psi the ride is even better, but they puncture with unhelpful frequency.
