Ok,so I`ve bought these but when I operate Lever B,the one we use to go down the cassette, there is a grating sensation unlike any Ultegras I`ve had in the past.
When I operate Lever A ,the large one at the front we use to go up the cassette, it feels fine.Smooth quiet and precise.
Now the thing is it isn`t wired up to the d`railer yet,I`m just sat at home twiddling with it before installation.
So,are there people here who have installed their own shifters, found the same grindind feeling only to find it gone when everything is fully tensioned up?

Just so you know,I`ve run Ultegra 6500, 6600 and 6600SL and never ha d anything like this before.
I`m pretty sure what I`ll be doing with them but maybe someone has a gem of info for me or a sound bit of advice:whistle: Thanks Peeps.

it depends on which way you route the cables on the handlebar

inside the bend is stiffer possible grating
outside is looser/smoother
there should be a guide hole in the shifter ( for the cable ) for either way

hope that helps

Thanks topcat1 but the cables arent mounted on the handlebars yet.
I wonder if it will not be an issue when everything is under tension.I`m a bit doubtful tbh
