We needed it for cleaning solder flux off a large batch of circuit boards that we were churning out. It was well worth the £60 or so that we paid at the time. Since then it has been used to clean all kinds of things including bike cassettes and chains (using Jizer as a solvent, probably not entirely kosher, H&S wise). It's got a two and a half litre capacity which makes it handy for bigger components. When we bought it, the tiny capacity US cleaners were no cheaper.
