You get rude people everywhere. Just make sure that you run your chain up along his leg as you make a big show of squeezing past him.

If you were quick enough you could have put your D Lock around his neck and locked it and not taken it off until he apologised!

All part of life's rich pageant though, what?

People that piss me off are the ones who stick all their cases in the bike bit, and then bugger off down the train.

I havent ever taken a bike on the train. Whats the form? Do you have to pay for the bike and where do you normally find the bike racks. How do the bikes attatch to them? Should I put extrta oil on the chain in case theres some numptie in the way :-)

I've had this umpteen times. There are folding seats for bikes on the trains I get, but Scotrail won't put up signs telling people that the area is for bikes. I've had one woman call me a cheeky daffodil for asking politely if I could put the bike there. The train was EMPTY and she refused to move. She got an oily leg for that.....
I had a woman mumbling away about "bloody bikes" because someone sat next to her, as my bike was occupying the bike space.
I complained to Scotrail customer services in Fort William about the lack of signage, and they were useless. Even worse, one of their employees told me I'd have to move my bike if someone with a wheelchair came on, even though the wheelchair space was at the other end of the carriage.
And then... AAAAAAARGH! My head hurts!
Perhaps I'll just take the car instead

The fella was showing off to his mate on the other end t'phone. If he weren't on t'phone, chances are he wouldn't have been so bolshy.
