Uncleat your shoe at what position.

I unclipped at 6 o clock once but the bike had stopped at five to six.
It is advantageous to unclip before the bike comes to a stop.
If I could learn to balance on the bike after it stopped I wouldn't have to unclip at all.

not a clue. but have become very adept at a quick clip out .

my favoured position for clipping out is at 90 degrees (ish) to the floor . I can go as low as 45 degrees but its usually a bit too far down by then

I’m using Shimano road bike cleat peddle. When you uncleat your left leg, do you place your left peddle at 12 or 6 o’clock position. I find removing at 6 o’clock position easier. How abt you?
