Unfortunate (genuine) names

A new teacher with an unfortunate name joined a local private school where a friend teaches. The pupils seemed not to notice, but it gave the other teachers endless amusement: "Is Mycock in today?".

Years ago, a teacher of ours was Mr. Aubrey, it became a competition in class to get as near as possible to calling him “Miss Strawberry “.

As an articled accountant the office manager took great delight in loudly handing out annual accounts work to the ladies in the room as the client was called Seymore Cox.

There was also a Labour MP called Seymour Cocks.
