Unfortunately Chrome has stopped working (message).

My Samsung phone has started to refuse access to Google Chrome. eg I try to get on CC and it refuses...... then the above message appears. Today it refused all attempts.
By going thro the web I found that its a recognised problem with Samsung.
I (as a technophobe) found that I can go to settings>chrome>cache (or similar) and clear it.
Unfortunately it re-occured and so on.
Does anyone have a simple solution PLEASE.

Apart from buying a Google Pixel no I'm afraid not.

You could try a simulated battery removal which reboots the system.

1. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys together for 10 seconds.
2. The phone will reboot successfully provided that it was just a system crash and that there’s enough battery left.

Worth a try.

No.......Virgin are still messing me around with that. They willhave their last chance on Monday then I am switching providers.
