Don't worry, I intend to, if I'm ever in the vicinity again which is unlikely.

Your teenager analogy doesn't quite work though, there they would be preventing entry because they're cluttering up the aisles - which is not what the guy said I was doing. He was convinced my bike was unhygenic.

And, in this particular case, there was nothing for me to do with the bike aside from take it in.

No, it's stupid nonsense. Lots of people carry a bin bag in the main tube of the B for just such a purpose. Know nothing idiot hassles you about the bike? Bag it, then reappear with your "luggage".
