Up cycled handlebars

Slowly organising the garage at the moment and required more room for bikes. Used a pair of drop bars which came off my Boardman to hang the said bike on the partition wall.

Great idea. I'd like to do the same, but my garage walls are cinder block and handlebars wouldn't keep the bike far enough away from their horrible scratchy surface. I could glue some carpet on there, but it'd look crap.

The new wall is created from our old decking which I am sure there is loads going surplus across the country ! Behind that is going to be an area to build plastic models because it is a pain having to shift them from the dinner table every time.

I have my bikes hanging upside down from the rafters in the garage and am always twatting my head on them because all my toolboxes are underneath them!

I have loads of spare parts for my old car hung up and sometimes forget they are there !

I've seen that done before, but not as neatly. P clips are a nice touch.

Luckily, it's usually the saddle, so there's a little bit of padding!

It might with wonky-angled handlebars if the wonkiness matches the bike's top tube.
