Update just a little story .

Well got Darren this Giant ocr bike this morning .5 years old in good nick .Needs good clean and handlebar tape .It's a bit on the small side .But there is loads of room left in the seatpost .And Dave my mate sat on it and looked ok .

Price we paid for him £25. I'll type that in again £25 it's a bargain .I will take a proper photo when it's tarted up .Bargain of a life time this bike .I could not believe it .

No not on e-bay .Dave one of my cycling buddys .Got a Boardman this year .So he sold his Dawes giro to a chap named Tommy .And Tommy kept his Giant ocr in his garage .Until today when we made him this offer.We think the bike is 5-7 years oid .But it is in good nick .Tomorrow back wheel going into shop to be trued and spokes tightened £10 .New bar tape £8-99,and we are going to find some tyres for it .

Can't wait to see his face .Washed it today going to give it a very good clean on saturday ,it's going to sparkle .

When's the big handover??

Monday is handover day .Had to spend a little more on it today .The person who had it did a d.i.y. spoke job on it .And Edinburgh Cycles would not touch it .So had to buy back wheel So i also got two tyres aswell .Vittoria something or other .On their web site anyway .Front wheel is ok .It came up clean pretty good .Paint work has a few grazes but nothing to spoil the look of the bike . .Why don't people take care of things .Chainrings little rusty when the muck came off .But for a second hand bike it looks good .Any worry i have now is it is a small size he could be 5' 8" tall and thats about inch and a half over the recom' for this model .But there is loads of seatpost left .So fingers crossed .Or i might be lefdt with a Giant headache .Model is Giant ocr compact road .in cherry red and white transfers .5-7 years old .Good starter bike if it fits him .!!!!!please fit him .
