She is moving, within the next 4 weeks.
She's got another flat, elsewhere in the town and it's not an exchange so we'll probably have an empty place under us for a few weeks.

The HA have told us that she has made over 300 complaints about us over the last 15 months including:
  • mowing the lawn at 5pm at night
  • walking about
  • flushing the toilet after 5pm
  • Loading the car at 4.30pm
  • Walking the dogs at 6pm
  • Having the TV on at 5pm
  • Using our stairs at various times of the day
  • Hoovering in the afternoons
  • Parking on our parking space and walking on the gravel
  • Using our bedroom
  • Running a bath AND (horror of horrors) letting the water out afterwards
  • Cycling noisily :bicycle::eek: (I ride all over the county and do not do laps of the garden)
  • Using the garden after 4pm
  • Playing guitar (even though we use headphones or play 12 miles away in Norwich)
This is not an exhaustive list and several of the 'complaints' have had multiple repeats, especially flushing the loo, that one has had well over 75 complaints. The HA are moving her as she is a pain in the situpon. We are joyous here. Absolutely thrilled to bits.
We probably won't bother moving now that the wicked witch is moving away. We rather like our garden, now we can use it.
Just been and bought fencing (cheap off gumtree) and have had a 'look' as we unloaded the car at 10pm. It's before 11pm so she can go poke.

You been given the full list?

As for flushing the toilet, you should have thought about her more. I mean flushing it after 5pm!! Have you no thought for the noise it makes.
The woman at the HA said that she shouldn't tell me but did rattle off a bunch of 'unreasonable' complaints against us and was very curious to know how anyone can cycle noisily. She asked where we went and I said 'we go all over the place and only cycle along the back road on the way out and the way back home again and make a lot less noise than those big yank cars near us'

The cycling noisily complain was legit I reckon. There's photographic evidence:

Joking aside, it is great news that the (clearly) batty old witch has buggered off elsewhere.

They won't tell you so you can't warn her new neighbours.
Just think, they might be worse than her!!!

If a complaint has been made against you, you have the right to know what that complaint is/was and put your version of events. In your defence.

You still doing that playing card in the spokes trick?

I hope you are planning some sort of going away treat for her.

The HA lady said that they had to make a note of the complaint but as we haven't broken any law or any part of our tenancy agreement that there was nothing to be done except to make a note to keep her-downstairs' face straight.

We'll be banging in fence posts for the next couple of evenings but she's on days at the moment as its the school hols so she doesn't leave the house until 6am. We should be able to put our fence up without too much whining from her.

Illegal sub-letters below me are complete pains though their locked-up status dog's barking is what gets me the most. I haven't complained but, the other day, I was woken by shouting from the garden downstairs about neighbours complaining. And also about how he's a nice guy. When I got up and looked out of the window he was frantically sweeping up a week's dog poo off the paved over garden and wailing about losing ''My house.'' There's also a letter from the council asking for a response to complaints about anti-social behaviour that I haven't filled in. They're trying. No sub-bass drums and bass for a while and little barking.

Some people are incapable of sharing until they're threatened with the street. I feel for your neighbour's next neighbours though when they get the Neighbourhood Witch.

We feel for them too but not enough to not do little 'happy dances' ever hour or so. We are so looking forward to her going. We are going to flush the loo after 6pm in celebration.
