Except that I dont have a Mrs.

Perhaps me and @PaulSB can send ours round to do their unique take on organising things for you.

Provides some interesting menu inspirations too. Who knew that kippers went with chocolate ice cream?

Very kind of you but after 55 years of marriage I think i will fumble along.
TBH my plan is to empty and repack everything in the next couple of days.
Just this morning I was searching for a meal I made and froze (corned beef hash) but i couldn't find it. I did find some i had forgotten i had though ^_^

You could give the YHA method a try: cram it all in until the door won't shut, and pick it off the floor every time you open the door. Or fill it all with cans of beer.

A severe case of over-thinking going on in this thread.

What next? How is your cutlery drawer laid out?

By coincidence, when I opened google yesterday there was an advert for a supa dupa wooden insert for my cutlery drawer. It will revolutionise my cutlery system.
It was difficult but I avoided the temptation to buy one.

We could do that - which direction do the knives point???
Pointy bit up, of course, at the right.

Lol I batch cook often, sometimes I label the tubs, other times I just fish in the freezer for a surprise
And if they have no "pointy bit", what then.
Cheese knives are in the very last right slot of my cutlery drawer.
