Doesn't a cheese knife often have two pointy bits on the end. Sometimes on the side, at the end?
Indeed, it's to lift pieces of cheese from the cheese board to your plate.
I didn't consider those, and I have one, lol
What other non pointy knives are left?
Palette knives!
They go in the separate baking implements jar, with long spatulas etc.
I use an ornamental antique pottery one, looks nice on the counter ^_^

We used to have a system but its all gone to pot. Now I just shove anything in where it fits. Only 1 basket remains ordered, that's veggie stuff for the stepsons gf, which never gets eaten so we currently have 4 bags of quorn mince in there

I wish I had room for a proper chest freezer.
Having grown up with one at my parent’s house, they are so much better than the upright ones.

Only tip I can give is avoid ones with a deep drawer. Whatever you are looking for will always be at the bottom. In our fridge freezer we have 2 standard drawers and one deep drawer. I'd have preferred 4 standard drawers even at the expense of some storage volume.

What next? How is your cutlery drawer laid out? :rolleyes:

By coincidence, when I opened google yesterday there was an advert for a supa dupa wooden insert for my cutlery drawer. It will revolutionise my cutlery system.
It was difficult but I avoided the temptation to buy one.
