(Incidentally, I've always worried about the stability of those scooters. I know there's a fair bit of weight in the base with the batteries, but with someone on board the CoG seems high. And I don't think people get much advice on driving them, like how avoid adverse cambers and so on. I had to pick an old chap up the other week, whose scooter had tipped him off while trying to get up a dropped kerb at an angle. In that case, I'm pretty sure I was the first person to happen along, as it was a quiet side road, and I think it had only just happened.)
