URGENT Need Help picking between 2 bikes

Hi,
I am new to road biking and I have the opportunity this evening to pick between two used bicycles.

The first one is a 2008 Windsor Wellington, with information at:

or

an older, used Giant Allegre, in beautiful condition.

Any opinions would be wonderful, and if they can be provided A.S.A.P., so I can get back to the sellers today.

i'd sooner pay £300 ($40000000USD) for an alu bike with sti shifters than buy a cheap bike with shifters placed on the bars.

if the giant has the gears and brakes integrated into one unit, that bike is the one to go for.

The Windsor is an awful bike shaped object, with a resale value approaching zero. Run away and buy the Giant.
