If you had aligned the slots in the screw heads, or found a more interesting alternative, I might have forgiven you. I reckon you need contrasting hands, too. As it is...........it's a "good try, but not quite" from me.
Good idea but let down by execution, line the screw heads up pointing towards the centre and use the 'arms' to mark 3,6,9 and 12 instead of the gaps betwixt them.
You'll have to wait for 12-speed chainrings before those clocks become accurate. working in 11/12ths of an hour is almost as illogical as the imperial measuring system.
