Anyone got one of these? I've got an Eee 901 which I really like, but I would prefer something with a pukka hard drive, rather than the small SSD drive.
Is the Samsung a good machine, and is it worth the money?
Cheers.

I'll probably get one of these as my next PC. Proper PC ut with a compact form factor. I have had a good play with them in the shops and I think I could get on with one.

I'm using one to type this. It's a pretty good machine, well built and the battery life is good. We've had one for a year now and it's perfect for surfing, watching films on trains and generally carting around. I like it.

This would be the primary reason for me buying it. The rep for good battery life on these machines is very good

I’ve use the NC10 (and the N110) and am very happy with it (them). One thing to watch with the later NC10s is that those sold by Argos and Comet were supplied with a 3 cell battery rather than the “standard” 6 cell unit and this clearly leads to reduced battery running time.

Hmmm. The previous owner appears to have partitioned the 160 GB hard drive into C and D drives of 80GB each, and system restore just wipes the XP install on C, leaving D alone.
Odd.

Odd.

If it is working off an image file, that is normal

That's the default NC10 setup and is normal
