I got told yesterday that if I wanted a box of chocolates that I would need to buy my own when I cycled over to my parents' home yesterday (the local health food shop sells my favourite dairy free chocs I'm allergic to dairy so getting them can be difficult). Who says romance is dead? I even let him do the weekly shop by himself last weekend so that he could buy them in the supermarket.

This made me chuckle!
And I too am allergic to dairy. It isn't lactose-intolerancy (I don't get any of the digestive problems associated with it), just I get really get bad acne whenever I ingest dairy produce. It's weird!

20 smackers, can't complain. Did get extra veg as we have to feed the kids too (boooo) - they won't want the fish cakes, or duck, but can russle something else up !!! Spent ages looking through the menu as it needs to be gluten free - the fish cakes have some gluten in, but the rest is free.
Think it's the short route as the bike is exceedingly loaded !

mine is anaphylactic shock to cow's dairy and just asthma issues with any other dairy (sheeps, goats, camel, buffalo etc)

Being from up that way but never having learned the language I've attempted over the years to pick up stuff from maps etc. One of my few words is ceilidh. I have a few more but I couldn't attempt stringing any together.....
Mrs rp is n London for a couple of nights which frees me up for romantic evening
I can picture it now, you're home alone with a party bag of Wotsits, a Ron Jeremy film and a box of Kleenex.
