Vampire Weekend

Unfamiliar as I am with modern music I'm after advice. My dear lady wife was given a copy of an old CD of theirs by my son and rather liked it. She has seen an advert for a new album called Contra which I thought I might buy for her.
Anyone know if it's any good or a turkey.

When I first played Contra, Mrs DP thought it was congolese rumba; they range through quite a number of styles

I bought it on its release day with eager anticipation because I enjoyed the first album. Didn't like it first listen, then, since then it has got better with every listen and now I really like it.
