There's a 80th VE day party in Cae Glas Park, Oswestry on Saturday. I might go to it as I'm fairly certain that I was at the 25th.

I might pop-out to one of the local events on Saturday.

I was a bit puzzled by talk of a minute's silence; surely we're celebrating victory? Seems odd to combine parties with sadness 😕

Celebrating victory, but also remembering the cost in lives.

Not doing anything in particular, just thinking about all those people that lost their lives, or were affected for the rest of their days because of the war, but it's a bit of a funny one as it's mid-week, and of course for some people the war didn't end until VJ day
