Theres a couple of events on over the weekend, I'll probably be attending one. Tonight there is a beacon lighting locally (well it'll be a quick 10 min ride lol) I'd like to attend.

Liberation Day in Holland was last Monday, 5 May. We rode the 90km Freedom Ride around Arnhem, followed by a concert party with beer and chips.

Saw a couple of old looking planes flying overhead about an hour ago on Arran which I guess were part of an event. Other than that, nowt.

I was a bit puzzled by talk of a minute's silence; surely we're celebrating victory? Seems odd to combine parties with sadness 😕

There was a 2 minute silence at midday. Apparently, the announcement of interest rates by the B of E was delayed until 12:02.
