WELL!!!!! A complete change of plans!
We ended up changing the route this morning due to weather complications. We ended up cycling in-land. We got to Lenham and the heavens opened in biblical style, this wasted 20 minutes and meant warming up again as we had only just started.
Halfway around my knee played up, so we cut it a little short - we still achieved 31.2 miles. Both of us ended up in the hedge. Mum went into the hedge due to me stopping too quick and she ended up in the ditch. My fall was completely hilarious, I just was cycling fast and ended up going onto the verge and then then out the side door into the hedge.
