New club member, joined last year whilst still undergoing massive chemo, and on advice bought a road bike instead of the hybrid she had been planning.

Yesterday in a small group of 7 of us, she completed her first 100 mile ride, averaging 17mph.

Can't begin to say how awesome that is!

she's just turned 50. (she was also the youngest on the ride!)

Excellent, I'm younger without the health concerns and would need to train to do 50 mph at that pace. Really well done.
