I've just realised I'm now a CC "Veteran", no longer "Uber Member".

I'm not sure I'm so happy about this. Uber Member sounds cool and has a certain cache. Veteran sounds...well, sort of......old

No they don't - they spend 10 minutes on the phone insisting to their sisters that the American government uses NS&I to intercept phonecalls and emails, and the CSI to bump off people they don't like.

Then half an hour later, they realise that National Savings & Investments are not a front organisation for the UK activities of the NSA, and US TV crime shows have nothing to do with the spies and assassins of the CIA.
