Was it really as windy as it sounded? Those cameras could do with a little wind sock.

I can see the start of that video from where I'm sat in the office! I've never braved the Queensway's on my bike, I'd only do it if the traffic was at a standstill like in the clip.

It is madness to try and drive down the Bristol road. I've only done it once or twice in the rush hour and its awful.

do you check behind you when moving from one filter lane to the other? I'm guessing not if the cam is on your head, perhaps you can hear a scooter but surely not another cyclist?

Lonon is cycle heavy but chopping beteeen the filter lines without checking someone else aon;t already bombing along it is asking for an embarassing bike/bike prang

Blimey, thats a pretty "gnarly" commute there...cant believe how thick the traffic is (do you see what I did there?).

VERY familiar route.

Traffic looked bad that night. Probably due to Villa playing at home. What time was it? A bit clearer when I hit that bit of road at 20:15 last night.

The pavement bit. Didn't that used to be a segregated cycle lane on the pavement? The nice clear bit was for pedestrians, the bit peppered with street furniture and drop kerbs was the cyclists part? Although it used to dump you at the pinch-point just before Priory Road - scary!!

Likewise on the Queensway - due to a visit to Broad Street last night (no, not drinking), I took the Queensway from the North, but ducked the Lancaster Circus flyover and the St Chads Queensway tunnel - pretty frantic in a car, so wouldn't fancy it at all on the bike. Even though I had to cycle past the place where a cyclist was killed recently.

That traffic looked awful ... I'm glad I wasn't commuting in it - I wonder how long it took the cars to do the same bit of the journey.
