I know this thread is already a bit older, but you never know...
I have acquired a James Fothergill a couple of months ago, and I would like to try and put a year to it.
As information is so scarce, I've decided to pop the question here.
Would any Fothergill owners / or people who used to own one mind to share their serial number and the assumed year of build?
I think it would really help for the future to create a sort of overview of known frames and their number/age.
Mine is #3028, stamped on the right rear drop out and on the back of the fork crown. I expect it to be early 50s.
As soon as I have the opportunity to make some better pictures I will share them here.
