Could not resist this green mean machine , early 80's original condition apart from tyres,bar tape,saddle and non drive side crank arm.

So lugged frame,Shimano 600 arabesque groupset. And its vivid green what is not to like.

Yep you're right, that is definitely green, and I'm colour blind!
I saw this advertised somewhere, it's hard to forget - I can still see it when I shut my eyes!
Looks tidy, fluorescent colours are definitely in at the moment

Yes it was on the bay of evil . Been keeping an eye open for Pro model but not many of them have been seen in original condition.

Just checked and this sits on 27" wheels i presumed it was 700's

Been comparing notes with another 600ex owner and our 2 bikes are so different ie

mine has half chromed forks
his has the viscount motif pantographed in fork crown
mine has eyelets on all dropouts
his has 2 slots in bottom bracket shell
mine has 27" wheels

so 2 bikes of same model and a few variations

Just back from first double figure ride on the green machine after a few days worth of commuting test runs to make set up is ok , thought i would try it out .

Normal 27" wheel bike feeling ie they roll along effortlessly on tick over pushing big chainring and mid rear cog

Hopefully will be out over the weekend doing at least a 25 mile ride on the old gal

Well just back from a 40 mile ride on this one , all i can say is it went well and coped very well with an old engine and some slight gradients

Nice and smooth this one might be around for a while yet

"All parts have been professionally stripped degreased and reassembled" - fully rebuilt? they are having a laugh (hope they remembered to REgrease everything when they reassembled ).
Still, I bet you wouldn't argue if that's really what it was worth

Reading the description on e bay its one of 700 versions so slightly different spec to mine but same model , but yes i would be happy as Larry if i thought it was worth halt that much
