Update on my Vitus 172. Been tinkering and started to look the part. Few things to do but will happen slowly.
Polished a few bits.

Update on the build.
Put on tubs today on Normandy hubs.
First time I have done these but pleased with the outcome.
Just waiting for yellow brake cable as only bought 1 metre not 2.
Bar tape is ordered and will be here midweek.
Just need to order chain. Not sure which one.
Only a 5 speed with double on front. KMC or Shimano ?
Gearing is all Simplex.

KMC Z51 at about 6 quid is a reasonable choice

Yes. I found it quite reasonable to do and satisfying as never done it before.

Wheels were given to me. Cog was seized but all good now after a hard day polishing the wheels.
